M. Sameer Ahmed was born in St, Louis, Missouri in 1970. In 1977, his parents, both of whom are physicians, moved to Fort Worth, Texas where Mr. Ahmed graduated high school in 1987.
In 1991, Mr. Ahmed received a B.S. in Biology from Southern Methodist University and contemplated applying to medical school, as was his family tradition. However, after living in New York City and working in the legal department of Ernst & Young, LLP, Mr. Ahmed decided to attend law school and earned his J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 1997.
After graduating, Mr. Ahmed moved to the small border town of McAllen, Texas where his two cousins (also physicians) had established several successful imaging centers. Mr. Ahmed began his career as an attorney there in 1998 and grew his practice by representing physicians in their transactional matters.
Mr. Ahmed now represents numerous local business including physician practices, transportation carriers and brokers, engineering groups, construction companies, and real estate developers.
